This Privacy Policy explains how MfgPlantIQ ("we", "us", "the Service") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our web application and Android app. By using MfgPlantIQ you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account & company details — company name, your name, username, email, mobile number, role and department, provided at registration or by your administrator.
- Content you submit — issue reports, comments, material listings, and photos you upload.
- Location (GPS) — when you report an issue, the app may capture the device's GPS coordinates to record where the issue occurred. You can decline the location permission.
- Device & push tokens — a Firebase Cloud Messaging token to deliver notifications.
- Usage & audit data — actions taken in the app (who did what and when) for accountability and security.
2. How we use information
- To operate the Service — manage issues, material, users, notifications and reports.
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and maintain an audit trail.
- To communicate with you about your account and support requests.
3. Data separation
Each company's data is logically separated so that one company's users cannot access another company's issues, material or reports.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service (for example, cloud hosting and push-notification delivery), and where required by law.
5. Storage & retention
Data and uploaded images are stored on our hosting infrastructure. We retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. History and audit records are kept to preserve accountability.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures including hashed passwords, token-based authentication (JWT), role-based access control and transport encryption (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Your choices
- Decline or revoke camera, microphone, location and notification permissions in your device settings.
- Request access to or deletion of your personal data by emailing us (subject to legal and operational retention).
8. Children
The Service is intended for workplace use and not directed to children under 16.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
